Writing to me is like breathing. I wrote my first little stories when I was about 6 years old and I never stopped ever since. Just turned 57, so that is a lot of writing, right? Have been a journalist for most part of my life, until my body commanded me into the dug-out. That’s were I am now, leading a completely different life than I did before, being happy in a totally different way. If someone had predicted this stage of my life 10 years ago, I would have said: naaahhh, not me…. but, it’s me!

I am from the Netherlands by the way, very often unjustly referred to as “Holland” by foreigeners, and no, we don’t all wear wooden shoes… I am going to blog about life’s setbacks, disappointments, happiness and love, health, relationships and the rest of the works that make our lives so damned interesting. The full life, as the name of my blog already indicates. I love life, despite the many wrong turns mine made, and if I can, I would like to transfer that love and lust for life to you, my readers…
